Alright, before i start on everything, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEONARD♥! My bro, my best friend and everything. You've helped me through so many things and i love you for it la! Love how you are like my closest boy-friend ever! I can tell you anything when i'm stressed or depressed and you never failed to make my day. I really really appreciate you as a friend in my life :). BRO AND HENG DAI FOR LIFE LA DUDE♥.
Anyways, let me tell you the whole ninja-planning of Leonard's Surprise Party!
And let me tell you one thing, he was really shocked.
Last Friday; we spent the whole day discreetly discussing without the knowledge of Leonard about his surprise party. We thought we were being tremendously obvious but apparently Leonard didn't even notice anything weird about our behaviors! Rather than celebrating it like we always do during birthdays - which includes and large cake and distributing it around the class - we bought him a wee little cupcake to leave him in a 'myeh, that's it?' mood. He was taken off-guard, but i guess he was a little upset with just a cupcake! Well, our Leonard is sensitive with food i guess!
After school was when the action started,
We (as in baby♥, Teng wei, Marcus, Irvin, Mcnorty(Wan Chuen), Hui Wen, Jonathen, Eeyong and I) brought him out to taipan for our usual Friday hangout session. Of course, Leonard didn't suspect anything because it was normal for us to hang out on Fridays! While we're out stalling Leonard at Taipan, few of our classmates went to Leonard's house to do the preparation and stuff, and of course with the approval of his mummy! His mom was being very sweet about all this, she was happy that we've decided to do this for her darling Lenny!
Around 7-ish, Shaun called us reporting that they were ready and we could bring the birthday boy back to his home to get surprised! And so we did. Leonard was already in an extremely good mood because he won against ...someone in pool! He was already singing happily with Wan Chuen while we were walking back to his house! When we reached his house, all the lights were already turned off. Leonard was all "Whoa, no one's at home! YES." and reached out to unlock the gates. We were shouting weird stuff to give the people from the inside a signal that we've reached and they should all get ready. From what i heard from Eilin, everything went wrong just when we entered the house. The matches weren't working, the confetti wasn't working.....et cetera. But everything turned out fine in the end! Finally, we stepped in the house. It was pitch black, no suspicion whatsoever. But once Leonard switched on the lights, everyone bursted out with the birthday song while pulling the confetti and bringing out the cake! A myriad of colorful strings fell from the ceiling while balloons were thrown up into the air! It was such a happy sight. Leonard was shocked beyond words! We could see him practically glowing from happiness.
He was touched. Really touched.

We didn't manage to eat the cake though, we were all too full!

On the next day (Saturday which was like, yesterday), it was Leonard's real birthday!
We celebrated his birthday at the long awaited MTV WORLD STAGE! It was an awesome night of partying ;).

I couldn't manage to take more photos because it was raining. We were all drenched with water from head to toe! They DID give us ponchos to keep ourselves dry but knowing us, wearing ponchos keeps us from heaving fun! I bet everyone's having a fever right now HAHA. It was a fun though. Regardless of rain or shine, we'll still play all night! I regretted for not staying to see Katy Perry though :(. I had gastric so i was forced to leave and eat something before i die :(. BUT OMG, I FUCKING REGRET THAT I MISSED OUT ON KATY PERRY!!! It's so depressing :'(. Oh well, i'll just wait till she holds her own concert her!

A meal that is trés unhealthy to eat at 11pm but it was the only restaurant open!
It was not like i had a choice!
